A yearly plan renews each year and a monthly plan each month until you cancel. Cancel any time in the app: Me → Plan → Cancel plan, two taps. Your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then you are on Free.
Changing plans never deletes anything. Jars past the smaller plan's limit become read-only; the encrypted backup stops on Free, so export a copy first.
Shortfall alerts, security and your data rights (export, delete) are the same on every plan.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
